2025 Election Dates: February 18, 2025 is the Spring Primary, if needed. As of 12-5-2024 the information is that there will most likely be a Spring Primary. April 1, 2025 is the Spring Election. The Town of Whitewater Board will be held during the April election.

Elections for Town of Whitewater residents are held at the Whitewater Town Hall, W8590 Willis Ray Road, Whitewater, WI. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Election Information and Forms

Voter Registration:  The easiest way to register to vote is online at: https://myvote.wi.gov/ If you prefer, you can print the EL-131 application below and return it to the Clerk, along with a proof of residence.

Voter Registration Application: EL-131 - If mailing this in, you must include a copy of your proof of residence showing your name and current Town of Whitewater address.

Absentee Voting: You can obtain form EL-121, Request for Absentee Ballot, from the Clerk or download it below. Your absentee ballot will be sent by mail after the Clerk receives your completed EL-121 and a copy of your photo ID. Absentee ballots will not be mailed after the Thursday before the election.

Application for Absentee Ballot: EL-121 - If mailing this in, you must include a copy of your proof of identification / photo ID.  More information regarding absentee voting can be found at Wisconsin Voter Information website. https://myvote.wi.gov

Or you may absentee vote in person at the Clerk's office with proper photo ID. NOTE: The town hall is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:30 am-1:30 PM or by appointment. Call Jorja at 262-473-4639 to set up an appointment to vote absentee. You MUST be a registered voter before receiving an absentee ballot. (Link below)

Wisconsin Voter Information: You can look up your Voter Registration, view a sample ballot for an upcoming election, look up your Polling place, Voting Districts and current Office holders at the My Vote Wisconsin website. https://myvote.wi.gov

Public Information: Statewide Voter Registration requires all electors to be registered before voting, beginning in 2006. Qualified Electors may register to vote in the Town Clerk's office during regular office hours. Registrations will also be taken on election day. Persons wishing to register to vote must provide proof of residence. A valid Wisconsin Driver's license with a current Town of Whitewater address is the easiest form to use for this requirement. If this is not available, contact the Town Clerk for other options.

A "qualified voter" is someone who is a citizen of the United States, is18 years of age  on or before the day of the election, has resided at the address provided for at least 28 consecutive days prior to the election and do not intend to move, is not currently serving a sentence including incarceration, parole, probation or extended supervision for a felony conviction.
