Minutes Town Board Special Meeting

October 13, 2021

 

The Special Meeting of the Town Board was called to order by Chairman Lowell Hagen at 6:15 PM.

In attendance was Lowell Hagen, Norm Prusener, Bob Strand and Jorja Boiley

 

Bob made a motion to accept the agenda and Lowell seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously.

A discussion ensued regarding the process for asking the electors to vote on an increase in the Town’s Levy Limit for the year 2021, payable in 2022. Two sample resolutions were suggested and calculations were presented for the tax ramifications if either of the increases were approved.

There was general agreement that an increase is needed. Further discussion and a decision on which resolution to approve will be conducted at the Board meeting schedule for 7:00 PM October 13, 2021.

Lowell made a motion to adjourn at 6:47 PM, seconded by Norm, the motion passed unanimously.
