Town of Whitewater Special Board Meeting

Lowell called the meeting to order at  8:30 AM

In attendance: Lowell, Bob, Jon, Jorja

Bob made a motion to approve the Minutes from April 19, 2023 Board Meeting, seconded by Jon and the motion carried.

Opened sealed bids for 2023 road projects – four contractors bid on the Summer 2023 road projects: Fahrner and Scott Construction for chip and seal; Payne & Dolan and Rock Road for scratch and overlay. See spreadsheets for cost comparison.

Discussion ensued comparing pricing for specific projects for scratch and overlay with a final decision to be made at the next Board meeting on 5-10-2023. The projects with most favorable possibilities are West Lakeshore Drive, East Lakeshore Dr and Shereda.

Resolution for change in banking information – Norm Prusener was removed from the check signing approval. Bob Strand and Jon Tanis were added. The two-signature requirement on each check remains unchanged. Motion to accept the resolution as written was made by Lowell; seconded by Bob and the motion carried. A copy of the resolution will be provided to First Citizens State Bank.

Discuss new Emergency Operations Plan. Copies of plan was distributed for review and discussion at the next Board meeting.

Bob made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Jon and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:10 AM.
