Minutes for Special Meeting

Bob Strand called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM

In attendance was Bob Strand, Norm Pruesener, Jorja Boiley. Lowell Hagen arrived later.

Norm made a motion to accept the agenda as written, motion seconded by Bob, motion carried.

Norm made a motion to approve the Minutes of the July 13, 2022 monthly board meeting, seconded by Bob and the motion carried.

 

Letter regarding ATV/UTV usage in Township. Norm made a motion to approve mailing a non-binding, survey questionnaire to all property owners, Bob seconded the motion, the motion carried.

 

There is an issue with the Town trimming overgrown brush/trees when affecting visibility on roadway.  Carl will measure the road in question, Glacial Drive, to confirm that the trees in question are on Town property or property owner. If on Town property a letter will be sent to the homeowner stating a time limit for the trees to be trimmed for a clear line of site for the stop sign and if not completed, the Town will perform the trimming.

A change in 2022/2023 levy limit was discussed. The actual amount involved will be determined and put to a vote at the elector’s meeting later in the fall.

Johnson information for maintaining Engel and R&W Townline Roads. The discussion centered on whether the pit is legal to be opened. Norm made a motion to have Johnson Sand & Gravel submit the paperwork indicating that John has filed the appropriate paperwork. Bob motion, and the motion carried.

Norm made a motion to adjourn to closed session per WI State Statute 19.85(1)(b) for review of Operator’s License, motion was seconded by Bob, meeting adjourned to closed session at 1:00 PM. The operator’s license was passed with a 2/3 majority. Norm voted no.

 

Norm made a motion for final adjournment, seconded by Bob and the motion carried.
