They feel that when the project starts, there will already be frost and damage would be minimal. They prefer to not pay anything up front. The major potential is on the Katzman farm and that will be in the easement. The heaviest items coming in to the area will be the trucks that are loaded with pipe.
They do repair based on square footage and the bid will need to be re-worked to reflect that change. Carl will contact P&D for further bid clarification.
The general consensus is that they feel WE Energies will work with the Town for wedging and overlay X whatever the % is eliminating the lower quality easement X 50% and they feel that they can do that price.
They will check with higher ups to see if the money can happen.
Discussion regarding timing for next meeting the week of November 28.
Regarding Howard Street, they are planning on having a surveyor measure the depth of the pipeline as it currently exists and then the road can be repaired without major concern of hitting the pipeline. There would be Diggers Hotline and an on-site manager.
Norm made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Lowell, the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 8:40 AM.
Respectively submitted by Jorja Boiley, clerk-treasurer
