Town of Whitewater Town Board Meeting Minutes

Call to order

Present:  Lowell Hagen, Robert Strand, Norman Prusener, Jorja Boiley

Approval of agenda – Norm made a motion to approve, seconded by Bob.  Motion passed unanimously.

The minutes of the April 22, 2020 town board meeting were reviewed.  Bob made a revision to the minutes regarding the boat lift. It is not installed as of this date, however, it is available to be installed. Norm made a motion to approve the minutes as amended. Bob seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

This special meeting was called to approve a change in the Cruse Lane Boat Ramp repair project. The original project provided for using asphalt only. The parameters have changed and there is a portion of the repair that requires substituting concrete for the asphalt. The quoted price is $2300.00. RR Walton & Company is the contractor who is available to perform the concrete repair today, May 7^th. Norm said that rebar should be used instead of, or in addition to, the matting as the quote suggests.

Bob made a motion to accept the contract as not to exceed $3000.00 with the inclusion of the rebar. Lowell seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Final adjournment:  Norm made a motion to adjourn at 9:13 AM, motion was seconded by Bob.  The motion passed unanimously.
