Minutes Town Board Special Meeting

March 18, 2021

 

Lowell Hagen called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM

In attendance were Lowell Hagen, Norm Prusener, Bob Strand, Bob Harris and Jorja Boiley.

Norn Prusener made a motion to accept the agenda, seconded by Bob Strand and the motion passed unanimously.

After review of the 3 10 2021 Board meeting minutes, Bob Strand made a motion to approve the minutes as written, the motion was seconded by Norm Prusener, and the motion passed unanimously.

Frank Hanson who resides on Island Road is requesting a sign at the corner of his road that would prevent cars from entering the road only to turn around where the pavement ends and the gravel begins. Since the road actually is  a thoroughfare, the Town is not able to use a “dead end” designation.   After a brief discussion regarding the amount of traffic that might be involved, it was determined to agree to Mr. Hanson’s request.  Norm made motion to install a sign indicating the road is “not a through street” and to order and install the sign. Lowell seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.

Norm made a motion to adjourn to a CONFIDENTIAL, CLOSED SESSION, seconded by Bob and the motion passed unanimously. The open meeting adjourned at 8:05 AM.

After a motion by Norm to adjourn the Closed Session and return to open meeting, seconded by Bob, the motion passed unanimously, the Closed Session adjourned at 8:44 AM.

Bob made a motion to adjourn the open meeting, seconded by Lowell, the motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 8:45 AM.
