Budget Workshop

Jon called the meeting to order at 5:01

In attendance: Jon Tanis, Bob Strand, Jake Hintz, Jorja Boiley, Carl Ahrens

 

With up-dated financial information generated since previous workshop, a proposed budget for 2026 was formulated. The proposed budget will be presented at the Public Hearing to be held on November 12, 2025 at 5:30 PM.

Jon made a motion to approve a carryover from the tax receipts, seconded by Jake and the motion carried.

Jon made a motion to change from QuickBooks to Workhorse for financial software, seconded by Bob and the motion carried. Workhorse is a Stevens Point based software provider whose market is entirely focused on the municipal government sector.

 

Jon made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Bob and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 5:29 PM.
