Minutes – Special Board Meeting

May 28, 2021

Norm Prusener called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM

In attendance: Norm Prusener, Bob Strand, Jorja Boiley and Marcia Clifford

Bob Strand made a motion to approve the Agenda as modified, seconded by Norm and the motion carried.

 

Per the modified agenda, an invoice was received from a resident asking for reimbursement for costs associated with elimination of Lesser Celadine in public areas. The Town had previously approved a request for private individuals to remove the invasive weed on public land, however, no approval was asked for nor provided to compensate residents for any associated costs.

Norm Prusener made a motion to send a letter denying payment of any costs incurred by private individuals for removing the weed, motion seconded by Bob Strand, the motion carried.

 

Marcia Clifford from CODE 360 assisted in the discussion regarding changes needed to update the Town Code. Progress was made regarding changes that need to be addressed. A new fee schedule and lake/boating issues were not addressed at this time. Another meeting will be set for a later date.

 

Bob Strand made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Norm Prusener, the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 11:00 AM.
